Here is the third collection of examples from our wide range of iron gate entrances.
English. Originally designed by Gilbert Scott 1869-72 Made by Skidmore and Co, Coventry. Scott carried out extensive restorations in Salisbury Cathedral between 1863-78. The cancel screen was in place by 1874 and was removed in 1959. The originals were in wrought iron, gilded and painted red. Our replicas are simply finished in sky-grey satin paint.
