Tree Seats are a very popular item in our range...and expanding fast with the recent growth in amateur and professional garden design.

Each tree seat is made to the same high standards as all other ironwork in our range and produced either in pre-determined sizes or to specific measurements provided by the customer.

Remember to allow for growth of the tree trunk over the years!

Whilst the name implies that Tree Seats have only one purpose - we find that customers have other ideas!

We have installed tree seats around sculptures, lampposts and fountains.

They are also useful in helping to disguise underground access points such as manhole covers. Tree Seats can be sited using fixtures that allow for quick removal or, for security purposes, using something more permanent.

Seats can be constructed to any size.

In addition, we can incorporate a unique design such as a crest, coat of arms or corporate logotype.

Also popular for the estates client who wants to provide 'off the beaten track seating' ... perhaps where a beautiful panarama is to be found.

How to order a tree seat

Although Peter Weldon has some tree seats in stock we find that most tree seats need to be custom made because every tree is different and each customer has different tastes! To obtain a quote please follow the steps below.

1. Measure the circumference of your tree.
2. Choose a design by selecting an image from the website. Please include the ‘Ws’ number. For example Ws-10075/ Ws-10072... etc
3. Does your design need arm rests?
4. Does your tree seat need to be very heavy duty (for example in areas where it may be subject to vandalism) or do you prefer lighter sections?
5. Galvanising- paint finish? Your tree seat can be finished in any paint colour provided you supply us with a paint code or colour swatch.
6. Installation- do you need us to build the tree seat on site or can you do that?
7. Location- where is the tree seat to be delivered?
