Example One

Wrought iron piers were once a familiar feature of the English gateway.

They are both beautiful and practical as they don’t obscure an entrance as brick piers do. When surmounted by hand made lamps, wrought iron piers create a unique and unusual complement to period style gates.

This substantial pair of box piers with lamps for gates and palisade fences were inspired by an original early 19th century design.

Standing 7ft high to the top of the pier, with an additional 3ft lamp, this is an extremely heavy duty, robust design.
